I'm one of "those". I've replaced a bunch of them(more than 10 sets) with stock bearings. They are cheap junk. 5 or 6 ball bearings held in place with a plastic cage. Ball bearings do not hold up under side loads like tapered rollers. The plastic cages heat up, dry out and turn to dust.
Does your car have a sure-grip? If it has a clutch-type, you need to remove the center thrust block, otherwise you may encounter side-loading from inside the center.
Good luck.

Ollie, is this for a strip car? I ask because there are "those" that say that the green bearings will fail in short time if used on a street car. Something to do with turning vrs straight line driving. I have not seen this, just have heard.

I just installed my first set on a 8 3/4”, 741 rear end. I went with Moser bearings vs Mopar Performance due to cost. $65 vs $120
