Sounds like a good time, Mike. Maybe some time an event out there will coincide with a trip out to the inlaws (in Gregory). My wife is going out there this coming weekend for a family reunion. I'm not going to be making that trip - darn the luck ;-).

Maybe I can plan for that event next year, though. She could go to the farm, and I could go to the track! Almost makes a trip to the inlaws something to look forward to! I'm a Husker fan, too, by the way - going back to when I lived in Omaha in the '70s.

speaking of get togethers, i plan on attending the mopar race at
thunder valley dragway on august 11th. so this is an open invitation
to anyone that wants to attend.

the track is a 1/4 mile surrounded by corn fields. it also has a very
rich history as it used to host the NHRA div.5 points meet. it is now
an IHRA track.
doug j., from the group, meets me there every year. the racing gets
underway ~17:00 and goes on until there are no more cars to race. i
typically camp out at the track. so, all you guys in the omaha area
come and show your mettle. we want bite -- plus i'm a huge husker
fan.
