Well, I looked at everything, checked all the switches and stuff. Everythin looks fine. All the switches are new, no burning or anything. I did notice one thing, at idle, my battery voltage is 12.5-12.6 with everything running (hi and low beams, radio, interior lights). When I turned off hi's it went to 12.8, then when I have it a little gas, it went up to 13.5ish wheres it's supposed to be. I'm removing the amps and stuff from the system tomorrow, the radio by itself takes only 3 amps, where the two amps im sure takes 30 or more. All the connections on the lights were good too it seems. I didn't get a chance to bypass ammeter yet, but I could clearly see it under dash, of only I could do it from underneath! :P
Sent from my iPhone i think it is just that ,,it may be worn out or not grounded
Have you checked your dimmer switch. It's a part which has the potential of collecting moisture around it and wearing quickly. It's happened to me more than once.

Must be the newer cars that do that? But with no tail lights, isn't the dash lights not suppose to work? My 65 was that way?

Jacob,
Something is wrong with the wiring, if my memory serves me correctly, if you lose your taillights, the dash lights shouldn't work. That was to let you lnow you had no tail lights. And both headlights should no be on at the same time. So I guess you if have a wiring diagram, he to put it out and start checking the connections. The work is never done on old cars.

Hey guys, on my 64 880, I was driving last night, and all the sudden my lights kindve flickered and went out. Dash lights stayed on, but headlights and taillights did. I would push switch in and pull back out and theyd flicker, then after about a few seconds, I pushed it in and pulled back out and it was fine. Hmm. I had turned my brights on for a little while prior to this, I notice all four lights come on when I turn on brights, is it supposed to? Also, I got some new halogen bulbs installed, does that have something to do with it? Thanks!!
