This email has Mopar club content: there is legislation pending that would threaten the ability of Web sites like the '62-65 Web site to exist. In this extraordinary event I felt it necessary to send this email to
the '62-'65 Clubhouse members. Contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.
The legislation in the Senate is called the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) and it would put the '62-'65 Web site in legal jeopardy if the Web site linked to a Web site anywhere online that had any links to copyright infringement.
This would unmake the Web, just as the similarly proposed House version, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). If you don't want that to happen, visit http://americancensorship.org/ for instructions on contacting your Senator and for more information about PIPA and SOPA.
