Gary,
To the best of my knowledge the last year for the 318 Power Pack was 1962. The 318 Poly was rated at 260hp, a Carter 3247 AFB was used on a dual plane cast iron manifold. I have never been able to view a stock 1962 Power Pack set up though I have seen photos of air cleaners as in your photo. For years I have been trying to find information about the cam shaft in this engine also. At one point I was given information that the profile was different than the 230 hp 2V engine for 1963, but never confirmed.
Over on my 318 Poly site I know there is one member that has a 62' 4V engine and it's a rare option for sure. I have a 63' 318 Poly A/C engine in the barn with this manifold which was swapped around 1998. A Barry's cam was installed that was to have matched the original profile and I have the cam card for it.
At one point I'm sure the intake on this car was swapped. Were dual exhausts also added? The green cap on the right inner fender well is not OEM but I sure you figured that out already, LOL

Thanks, for anybody that's looked at the photos, would that be a
correct air cleaner for a 318 four barrel ?
Was the 318 four barrel - 1964 only ?
