Re: So I got the '62 300

I think it's a nice looking parts car.  I've always had the mindset that you can't save them all.  Rust and trim Rust are the most expensive things to fix.  They made 10,030 of those 4 door HT as a 300, and 8,712 of them as Newports for a total of 18,742 4 door HT.  There is one for sale local to me for around 2k that I've been toying with the idea of buying for parts.  I want it's dash and a few other parts.  That's what keeps stopping me.  I can probably buy what I need for less....unless I damage mine....then I need a 2 door parts car....It's in Portland OR but I'm too lazy to go get it.

Do what you like with your new acquisition.  It's nice in photos, but seeing in person is the real test.  Congrats!

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
