Yep!! It scared me at first cause I didn't know others were doing it n I thought it was getting hot lol it'll randomly start going up, then back to normal. Maybe. All I have is my old one. Shoot him an offer or something. Mine was like 50-60. No problems anymore. U can always go with aftermarket but I like to keep original. I did put oil gauge in on bracket that holds my uderdash ac unit looks great
