Update on the pick up tube,,
The pick up tube that I need has never been manufactured
according to several sources, one of them was a tech from the Mopar
Performance Parts division of Chrysler, he was very helpful as to what I could
do and recommended I go with the MP P5007807AB pan, and several recommendations
on how to make a pick up tube for this use.
After checking some prices on line, I
ended up ordering from Moparts Connection, as I found them to be about 25%
cheaper than Jeggs. (158 versus 202) I will report on how shipping goes on
it, and after receiving will take measurements so they can be added to
the oil pan tech articles we now have, as well as any fittment
problems.
Thanks to all who replied on my
problem..... Roger
as an added note I was very unhappy with the lady I talked to
at Jims Auto Parts who told me that mopar never made a 1/2 inch pick up tube,
and accidentally lost phone connection with me after I informed
her that in her spare time she should check her hemi listings for oil
