--Bill,If you know someone in law enforcement, they can run the VIN to see what comes up. I had a buddy of mine track down my old '70 GTX this way about 10 years ago. It happened to still be in my state, so I'm sure that helped. I'm not sure how successful this would be is it was in another state, though - but I think it could still be tracked that way. Of course, this would only tell you where it was last registered. With our old cars, that could be decades ago.Dave
