Few years ago ran a 69 charger with a six-pack setup. I had a competition mechanical and a carter electric at the tank.At the big end of the strip the fuel pressure would drop to zero in the traps.
New 3/8 line front to back took care of the problem. The charger RTs had a 7 pound mech pump..the holleys did not like that much pressure a regulator kept it at 4 to 5 pounds to keep from pushing the float valves off their seats while idling. rob/ferts/phx On 10/24/11 6:01 PM, Paul L wrote:
A little late to the parade here but, I'm running stock 5/16" line with a cheap rebuilt fuel pump and a 780 Holley with no problems. Paul L. 63 Sport Fury 440/727
