i am old enough too know how too read people ,,,he told me too junk my cars ,,and i was wasting his time

Hi Doug,

If I were younger I'd probably be more apt to agree with you on all
points.

The Mopar collector is most likely well-to-do as the Dual Ghia alone
would bring enough $$$, if sold, to feed a small African village for a
decade or two.

However, the rich do provide a couple of useful services to the rest
of us hobbyists.

Not the least of which would include:

Proper preservation of original survivor examples
Proper restoration of cars

The rich infuse our hobby with large amounts of cash, creating demand
for parts and services that ultimately benefit us all.

And I suppose along the way this gentleman had to at least take a
quick enough look at someone else's car in order to buy it for his
collection.

So all is not lost on the rich. As they say, "The rich are just
different from us."
