Re: Oil pressure

Sounds good then...I dont have a manual gauge I'm sure it's above what I need...I just got the car over 80 for the first time since I bought it lol I don't run it hard, but I didn't realize the power that old big block has! I retarded the timing the other day cause I put reg gas in and had some valve clatter. Since then I've put some premium and ran out all the other stuff and now I gotta advance again I think cause sometimes it tends to bog down when taking off from red-light or stop sign. Not a big issue just annoying. This car has really grown on me, I've put 300 miles on this thing in 2 days!

All you need is 1psi for every 1000rpm.

Subject: Oil pressure

So after getting my motor good and hot, after driving, at idle my oil pressure gauge shows at the second line from left. I'm including a pic...let me know if it's too small ima make it small for people without cable. I just wanna know if that's not good. It comes up a Bit while driving or giving gas. It doesn't have pressures on it so idk what pressure that line is. I figured someone would know what that is...and if that's good or not. Thanks in advance!
