We have done at least 4 of these converting 4 doors into 2 door sedans. It can be done but it is very time consuming. If you want to make them look good. One is a 63 Plymouth that we made into a 3 door. If you want to see that one you can Google 63 Plymouth Compomise. It is on a couple of websites there. We have also done 2 65 Coronets 1 is an altered wheel base. Right now we are doing a 63 Convertible out of 63 Fury hardtop. And its looking Good!! ----- Original Message ----- From: "fd_colorado" <fd_colorado@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, July 31, 2011 6:35:45 PM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: Wheelbase/Overall Lenght the same? 1963 Plymouth B-body I looked up the wheelbase and overall length specs for the 2dr and the 4dr and they seem to be the same. I then did some measuring of pictures on both and the distance from the A pillar to the C pillar seemed to be the same as well. The difference seems to be in the length of the front doors. The 2 door also seems to have a more vertical line on the door's trailing edge. I recall somebody on youtube claiming that he converted his 4dr into a 2dr. Seems like it would be a big job.
