I got last month from Roger at
http://www.aajbrakes.com/ I bought the basic kit as it is easy for me to get all the rest of the parts from local stores. But he does have a full kit he can put together for you if you don't want to go shopping. I have not installed the kit yet, but it seems VERY well made. The install seems very very easy to do. Nothing gets modified in the car....no grinding, no bending....just plug n play. Roger is a really great guy, takes all the time to answer all my questions, Gave me the list of parts I'd need to get so I can go shopping..Auto zone and O'Reilys has all the parts for the conversion. The instructions are crystal clear. When I get my car back from the place that is doing my read axle I will be putting it on. All the parts together cost me about $600 for the basic kit and all the bits I will need. Not bad, when I'm done it will have a dual master Cly, & vented disk brakes in the front. I'm keeping my rear drum brakes as they don't go out much and need little to maintain them.
I think from a safety standpoint alone dual master Cly disk brakes kick butt over single master Cly and drum brakes. But put together correctly and correctly adjusted drum brakes should last a lot longer than 4 miles....somebody at the shop is not repairing them correctly.
