The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Web site went online in 1997. The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List started a while after that, 1999 I think without looking it up.  ListBot, the company hosting the original 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List went out of business, so in January 2001 the mail list discussion switched to a Topica-hosted mail server. Then in 2011 the Mail List was moved to Google Groups.  

The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Web site is a place to showcase all kinds of things about 1962 to 1965 Mopars. The Mail List is a technology that facilitates the opportunity of fans of these fine machines to interact with one another. 

Hope this clarifies the history and relationship. :)

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
