Rick:Just got back on Sunday from a reunion in Nebraska City, NE. the Lied Lodge.
Saw the new ballpark where our South Carolina team has been winning. Man the water coming and going, 7000lb sandbags. They said the water will keep rising thru Sept. or Oct. So much for waterfront property.I am looking at putting an old 392 in the 65 Dodge. Am looking for a block and the guy in central NE, Imperial Specialty Yard, has two and both completely frozen. He wanted $1800 peer engine. I did not even reply. I picked up a complete set of 392 heads, Rockers,Valves and he thru in a lot of tin, Timing Cover, Valley , etc. for $250. All i need now is a block, water pump, .
Well we wish you well in dealing with the water. Family members in Scottsbluff say the Platte could back up to them and their reservoirs are already completely full.
Any one have any 392 parts please feel free to contact me. Jim 1965 Dodge Coronet 440CI On Jun 22, 2011, at 7:54 AM, Steve wrote: Richard Kinsley <leroar.kinsley058@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I'll have to build a marine poly? I do think it's open though as I called and the recording was date specific and said they will be racing this Fri,etc.. Keep your fingers crossed. "Progress" is always a one step forward. one stepsideways process. Things always take more time than first plan! Missouri water? You can think about a conversion to this: http://www.amphicars.com/berlin07/_0528berlin400095.htmlBut that conversion would take a lot of work on a 1964 Dodge. Heh heh. I did see a picture of a "start" project for the second one of those built in the UK: http://www.amphicars.com/DSCF4005a.JPG Wow. And I thought 62-65Mopar cowl repairs were a pain!Seriously, I bet if you contact the police they can tell you if the drag strip is open. Hope so, and let us know how it turns out! And fell bettertoo. Thanks, Gary H.-------Original Message------- I have been working on cam degreeing and a few upgrades to LeRoar. Iwouldhave been done but got the doggone upper respiratory thing again. I'mbetter but still not up to par.We are having some serious flooding issues all up and down the Missouri river. I was afraid the dragstrip would be history but I just called and the recording listed the activities for this week. I feel thety wouldhavedeleted or modified the message if they were flooded. I do want to getoutthere and test the new stage one set-up before going on to the nextset-up.Stage one being the new cam only and stage two being the addition of thenew heads. The heads are still in the works.Dodger and I talked this morning and discussed the possibility of goingtoKearney sometime to run the 1/4 mile. We agree that it's probably too far to drive LeRoar to race as it would be a problem if something took a dump. When this happens he offered to trailer me out there. That shouldbefun. And I'd like to see what it really will do in the 1/4 instead of just using the old 1.57 times 1/8th mile time to figure the probable 1/4time. I think I will be back to LeRoar on Thur or Fri this week. It'll beinteresting to fire up the new set-up and hear the difference betweenthecams. ----You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups"The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" group. To post to this group, send email to 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx .To unsubscribe from this group, send email to 1962to1965mopars+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/1962to1965mopars?hl=en.-- Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies --You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" group.
