Re: 440 head question



Using the valley cover with the block off will do what you want.
Are the heads ported, polished, oversize valves?
That would be the only reason to block off the hole.
If memory serves me right the hole is supposed to warm the heads to help idle when the engine is cold.
Someone will correct my assumption if Im wrong
