I do not like boring any engine to the max, but if total cubic inches is what you want from an oem block, the 440 is the way to go,,, and yes they can easily be bored .06 , as per me and  440 Source.com Homepage ,  on the other hand a stock 440 is already double the maximum overbore  of a stock 413 (.120), that being said, by the time you bore the 440 to its .06 you have a tripple overbored 413 with a .18 overbore
