On my Chrysler, I didn't want a ballast Resister on the firewall and
so just connected the input to the output wires. and left the ballast
out.  Then I ued a coil from any auto parts store that has imprinted
on the outside" no external resister required" .. Has worked great for
6 years.......................MO
