I remember seeing some dark red tops way back when.  Not many, but  they 
were out there.  One I do remember is a dark red top on a pale yellow  52 
Buick.  That was back in the late 50's or early 60's though.  Could  have been a 
replacement top at some point, but I was too young to know for sure.
