Heacock doesnt allow me to drive my cars to work, thats about it. I dont park in a reg parking lot, so I do anyway, but not supposed to. I recommend to all here...GET A PROPER APPRAISEL ON YOUR CAR. DONT BE CHEAP AND REGRET IT WHEN YOU FILE A CLAIM!!! My appraiser is also an attorney. His appraisel fees is also a retainer. If I need his service at time of a claim...he is there and has never lost a case. This piece of info is worth a ton of $$$ if you didnt know it ahead of time. My buddy lost a 66 Galaxie 427 car in a fire. Had a half-assed appraisel and never got what he was supposed to get based on a stupid loop hole that was found in his policy. A good appraisel is 200-350 bucks. Also...dont get just the cheapest insurance...at time of claim, you might then realize why it was the cheapest. No other insurance company would insure my 409 car for near what it is worth. I would have lost a ton if something happened. I can now sleep at night knowing I got a good company and proper appraisel and an atty on stand-by.

Ive had Heacock for 11 years. They were the only company that would insure my 409 car for what it appraised at. I needed to use an appraiser they were familiar with and then no problems. Great service. Prices are not bad. I have 5 cars with them.Donnie----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill" <Y1TopBanana73@xxxxxxxxx>To: <mml@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "62-65 Mopar List" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, February 16, 2011 10:13 AM Subject: Hagerty vs Grundy vs Heacock vs ???Anyone have anything good, bad, or indifferent to say about these classic car insurers, or another competitor? I'm hunting for another company as JC Taylor is ticking me off and would like some input on experiences. Thanks!
