Guys...thanks for all the responses so far; the rear is already on the stands so I'll try the same direction spin for sure. But what I remember reading was something like, "one guy rotates a wheel in a direction until a "stop?" is felt and holds it against it" and then the other guy rotates a wheel in a direction; not sure which direction, and watches/listens for something or another. (Reading that it looks like something my wife would say.) Does any of this ring a bell with someone, and if so can they explain the mechanics behind the test as roughly outlined or hinted at here?thanks again, John Hammond----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Watters" <tomwatters@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2011 4:35 PM Subject: Re: Sure Grip Test Proceedure ???Thats also how you test if the suregrip clutches or Cone are working well as well, by looking for equal amount of rubber in each track, right?? :-)On 02/15/2011 12:22 PM, Bill wrote:I'm surprised no one has suggested the most tried& true method...power brake it& light (both of) 'em up!!!
