Harry,

One thing to check is that your throttle cable is allowing the carb(s) to go to WOT. That was the source of my kickdown problem with my poly. It just took a small adjustment in the throttle cable to correct it, then I could get the kickdown rod adjusted properly.

Ok I thought I knew what I was doing but obviously I
don't . And
I know it is not that hard. My trans does not shift down
when I floor it.
So that is in the kickdown linkage right? I have a 64 Ply
Maxi clone, and I
guess I can't figure it out can anybody help me out on
this. Or maybe it is
 in the trans?? Thanks, Harry
