My '65s have the mudflap type material on outside of the rail between the k
frame arms held on by two spring clips, for lack of a better name. Immediately
behind the rear k frame arm is a stamped metal half box on both sides under the
frame held on with two sheet metal screws, maybe hex headed. I have no doubt
that these are original
