Re: correct engine color for RB 62 dart

They goofed. A lot of Web sites don't "get" early Mopar facts correct. That's why this 62-65 Web site is helpful. :)

Painted orange, only the 1962 11.0:1 compression ratio and 13.5:1 compression ratio 413 engines went into Dodge / Plymouth B body cars that year. No "regular" 413 was officially available in these "B" body cars.

Chrysler and Imperial 413s in 1962 were painted turquoise.

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
