I cant speak for my 63 Dodge yet, as it had points before I pulled it apart 
to restore.
But I think I will stick with points for now, as the cost of restoration is 
more than I had planned for (normal for most people)

But my Lincoln has pertronix and so far it has never let me down.
But having said that, the previous owner fitted it when the car was still in 
the US.
I have only travelled 2 to 3000 miles in the last 3 year's.
