You can turn down the 833OD bearing retainer to fit car bellhousings. That's what I did on mine.

If anybody has a reasonably priced bigblock truck bellhousing for sale let me know. I want to put an 833 OD in my 64 Polara with 426W motor, and the truck bh is supposed to work for this. Must have the large center hole. I'd rather not bore out my current bh in case I blow the OD up and have to switch back. BTW, I insatlled the PJ gear drive the other day and it sounds WICKED!!
