Polishing winshields

I need to polish the winshield on my 68 Sport Fury (off topic, but 
needed for the 64 Polara also). It has several places that need buffed 
out that don't seem to be scratched, just dull. Anydbody have a good 
method? BTW, if anybody is interested in looking at the biggest PITA in 
my life for the last 1.5 years, it's currently on Ebay.
