Re: Shifterplate

I obtained a aftermarket weld in hump . I mocked up the engine tranny and crossmember and clutch fork linkage. I had an old Hurst mounting plate- do not know the number. Bolted on the B body bosses on the tailshaft, and it located directly under the shifter hole in the hump. Can you try the adapter plate that you have?.........................................MO

Hi,

I need a little help, please.
I have welded a b-body speed hump in my 62 sport fury for the 4-speed. With the long tailshaft that has the B and E-body shifter plate location. I have purchase a Hurst shifter plate number 2298. will it fit the b-body location?
I have tried to find info, but seems to get confused.

Thanks,

Knud-erik Bergstein Holm
