Here is something to think about when you start to freshen things up or preform an upgrade on your car, especially the interior. "Whatever part looks bad and needs to be replaced will make the good parts around it look bad and need to be replaced when changed out." After some cleansing the interior looked great on my 63 Sport Fury but the front seat backs were a bit faded on top and the silver logos were worn off so I replaced them to match the logos on the back seat. Well the new backs made the bottoms look shabby so I replaced them. Well the new front seats looked so nice that they made the back seat look distressed so I replaced them. Well the new seats looked great and I stepped back and realized that the door panels were worn looking so I replaced them. Well all those new parts made the worn carpets stand out like a sore thumb so I replaced them. Well now the convertible top... I think you see were I am headed, if you plan on going to any shows and win, ether clean every thing well and be happy or plan on replacing it all! By the way I have a really nice driver quality red 63 Sport Fury Convertible interior available if any one is interested. I have photos of it installed. Sorry I got long winded but just my $.02 worth. -------Original Message------- From: John Date: 2/9/2010 9:10:38 AM To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: '64 Seat Belt Re-webbing (Rear seat) As long as we are on the subject of seat belts I would like to know, on my 64 sport fury, it has front seat belts ( non retractable) are there rear seat belts? As I haven't removed the seat yet. I would like to bring my 1 year old to maybe 1 or 2 cars shows this year. Or should I get some new ones and not worry about 40 year old material. I also need to post some pics on photobucket for your guys comments. As it still is a unrestored survivor and there are a few things I would like to upgrade, but would like to know the census of the group, if I should do them or not. Thanks John Wask.... _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Free, trusted and rich email service. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/201469228/direct/01/ -- [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
