Love that answer !! Ain't our old cars fun? Most people count money by the 100's...we count by the 1000's !! Ollie----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Gilmore" <rickgilmore66@xxxxxxxxxxx>

I bought a new pad on Ebay a while back for my 63. Seems like it was fairly cheap but I can't remember exactly because it was probably 2 years and thousands of dollars ago.Rick Gilmore '63 FuryTo: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx From: pjlenn@xxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: B Body gas tank Date: Tue, 2 Feb 2010 13:52:15 +0000 Steve, My tank had been replaced on my car and when I took it off there was nothing in between the tank & body. Pretty sure there should be something there. I put something in between when I re-installed it but can't remember right now exactly what it was. Seems like roofing felt would be a good material to use. You need something that won't rot too quickly and provides some cushioning. I may have used some of the thin styrofoam that is used for shipping. Just can't remember for sure. I'd blame it on age but my memory never did work very well! Paul L.
