Beginners question sorry

I see a lot of you guys saying you have a poly this or a poly that. I know it is a type of engine but which one is it and what makes it a poly.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.  I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address.
