RE: Heater Hose Question

I didn't have any better luck with the '63 Dodge manual - the only picture I
could find with heater hoses showed a slant six in a Dart. The hose from
the water pump went to the heater hose barb on the passenger side of the
car, but I can't tell if that is the inlet or outlet - sorry...

I can't speak to the 63, but the 64 service manual engine compartment
diagram shows which hoses go where. You have to examine the drawings, but
once done, it's clear. /Butch/Ferndale, WA

My thought is- the hot water feed hose from the engine (pressure side)
would go to the control valve side of the  heater core. That would prevent
hot water from going thru the heater core during summer
months...................................MO
