RE: Savoy steering wheel

Gary,
Your ramp story brought back the memory of a near miss - I was bringing the
Barracuda back from Detroit and was cutting through Pontiac (MI)- glanced at
the passenger side mirror and was horrified to see 3 or 4 feet of ramp
hanging out the right side of the trailer, missing street signs and fire
hydrants by inches. I ended up stopping right on Wide Track Drive with the
4 ways flashing since there was no way I was going to get down a side street
like that!

I've seen repro wheels for the '64's... Nice stuff but a little rich for my
taste. What color do you need?

I see the difference. Maybe I'll find a good 64 wheel. We'll I got the
63 home today after almost losing a trailer ramp. Good thing a guy passing
me on I-40 waved at us , letting me know my ramp was about half way out. The
Savoy has a good dash and gauges, some poverty caps, and even a owners
manual. A good Mopar day as we got to look at his other cars such as a 65
Belvedere II - 383 - four speed and four other
64 Dodges. At least he has good taste !
