Gary, Like alot of things, there is more than one way to lash valves. What is important is that you are on the base circle of the camshaft. The old Mopar Performance valve lash sticker works great and is always there when you need it. I personally have to shoo everybody out of the shop when I lash valves so I don't screw up (been there, broke parts), but sometimes it's easier to have a helper to bump or roll the engine for you. Everybody has their favorite method (and many will tell you that their method is the ONLY way to do it)- pick one that makes sense and works well for you. SC -----Original Message----- From: Gary H. Adjust #7 Intake Valve *with #3 cylinder Intake Valve at full valve lift .... Adjust #2 Intake Valve *with #6 cylinder Intake Valve at full valve lift .... Adjust #1 Intake Valve *with #5 cylinder Intake Valve at full valve lift .... Adjust #8 Intake Valve *with #7 cylinder Intake Valve at full valve lift .... Adjust #3 Intake Valve .018 (hot) Exhaust Valve Adjustment: ENGINE OFF! ... this is the same procedure and sequence as the intake valves listed above.
