I tried and pried on a set of '68 Roadrunner leafs and could not get
them to work as is. I think they may work with some different brackets
BUT is it worth the effort. I just had my originals redone and added a
leaf. They work good. BTW I still have the RR springs if anyone wants
them. Dodger? A freebie?

Does anyone happen to know if a set of leaf springs from a '68 GTX will
fit on my '64 Belvedere? I'm going to look at a complete rearend I
found that I'm probably going to buy to swap in from the '68, and I
wondered about the springs too. So far I've heard one opinion of "I
don't think so", but I'm figuring someone on here probably knows for
sure. My crude measurements of my springs tell me they're right about
54" from spring eye to spring eye straight across. But I'm thinking
there's more to it than that.

Thanks in advance.
