RE: Cam Selection Question - Thanks

Dennis,
A buddy just stopped over (timely visit) to take me for a ride in
his fresh 440 6pak Challenger 4spd. He used a Comp Cams 292 degree duration
cam (sounds alot like the DC 509 to me) and it works well with the 4 speed.
He knocked the end carbs open at about 40mph in 4th gear (4.10 gears) and
the thing pulls like a freight train. Nice rumble at idle without shaking
the car.

Thanks to all who responded to my cam question. The answers were great.

I now know that I need to know much more about the engine and car I have
before I talk to one of the camshaft companies.
