The 63 rear end is narrower than 64. In 1964 a wider track was used with an exception. 64 Max Wedge utilized the rear of 1963 cars so wider tires could be installed. There is a tech memo issued describing this. You will find a 1965 rear is a different measurement from 1964 as well but without the issue previous years axles present.
