HiThanks, something is wrong after I changed the oil, it is leaking from a small shaft hole, above the connection
for the cable to the panel for the pressbuttons. It is an arm connected to this shaft and the rod is connected to some brackets etc for the carburetor.
Is this the kickdown for the transmission? When the engine and transmission are cold the oil level is approx 3 to 4 inches above the full mark on the
oil dipstick, maybe the dipstick is for another transmission??I will drain the oil and fill up with 5 quarts and then check the marks for the oil dipstick again.
I hope all of you understand my English, if not please let me know. //Anders Sweden At 20:32 2009-08-14, Gary H. wrote:

Let the engine idle for 2 minutes then, with the parking brake on,  press each push button briefly and end in the N position. Shut off the engine and add fluid as needed to get to the FULL mark. With a warm engine and the motor shut off the fluid level should show between the FULL marking and  5/8" above the FULL mark.>> >> Thanks, >> Gary H. >> >> -----Original Message----- >>>From: Studebakerman >>>Sent: Aug 14, 2009 10:56 AM >>>To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx >>>Subject: Re: (no subject) >>> >>> >>>sorry, the transmission >>> >>> >>>//Anders >>> >>> >>>At 17:53 2009-08-14, you wrote: >>> >>> >>>>the engine or the transmission???????? >>>> >>>> >>>>In a message dated 8/14/2009 10:51:50 A.M.
