It is on the button console not in it. Hopefully it has gotten out of sequence and not gone bad. They are hard to find from what I have been told Pushing the R Button just flips a Y shaped arm back and forth.(On & Off) To get to the switch you have to pull the console from the dash and just bend the four tabs holding it in or the two screws holding the bracket on the console. To get to the workings of the switch your going to have to carefully bend the tabs as they are thin and can't take bending to often. If it is out of sequence (The tab has gotten out of the center of the Y shaped arm) I would loosen the screws to reset it. My backup light is on all the time. No matter if I´m in Drive, 1st... Neutral and so on. How do I get to the backup light switch...My manual says it is in the pushbutton console. Any tips before I take it apart and can´t get it back together.
