'66 should be slip yoke unless the 273 is where they put all the leftover B&T units (like they did in '65 with the 904 - never say never).
A well built 273 is nothing to sneeze at. Dave Casey Sent from my PC----- Original Message ----- From: "neal zimmerman" <neal.zimmerman@xxxxxxxxx>

A guy here has a 273 and 4 speed he pulled from a 1966 plymouth. sounds like he wants to get rid of it pretty bad so i might be able to get it for a couple hundred. he says the "motor ran when Pulled". i will assume its a rebuildable core.would this tranny be a ball and trunnion style tailshaft? or just a slip yoke?and this would also have the small bellhousing and 9 1/2 inch flywheel, correct? Is the price right? i know your typical 4 speed is worth about 300 bucks , but this might be a ball and trunnion , which isnt worth as much, i guess neal zimmerrman, eugene oregon
