SV: 318 poly

I will buy it any way, 280$ us is dirt cheap. And shelve it if the
bellhousing does not fit.

Thank you all for your interest, and respons.
I will tell you how it goes when I have picked it up.

I found this guy on e-bay seems he has body parts new ones.

its listet as 63-65 belvedere or corenet

Erik, the bellhousing will definitely fit, if there's a flywheel you
won't be able to use that. The 360 crank is balanced by having an
off-balance flywheel.

Then again, if the Poly is from a '61 model or earlier, it's not going
to bolt up at all, they have a different flywheel flange, it's further
from the block with 8 unthreaded bolt holes (6 threaded holes for '62
and later) and the lower bellhousing mount bolts and the dowels are in a
different place.

All bellhousings seem to have the clutch pivot in the same place, I
don't think that's a worry at all.
