TTI would be the only headers I would consider, way more pricey than they need to be but will not leak, there is an obvious gain from making the exhaust more efficient and noise level pretty much depends on mufflers and overall system being ultilized. ----- Original Message ----- From: "SB" <polecat2@xxxxxxxx>

I've got a stock LA 318 two-barrel with auto trans, runs like a champ.
Only mod is a dual exhaust system, but it's leaking at the manifolds, so
I'm going to take the manifolds off and fix them proper.  Was just
thinking, would you folks put headers on this engine?  I just drive it
around, but I drive it a lot.  Was wondering about power gains, noise
levels, more or less heat, etc.
