Dollars to donuts- Industrial sends them to Keystone automotive in Brainard? Minn. They are a autobody supply house and do bumper restoration. They have route trucks that go to body shops and will pick up and send your bumpers in at no cost. They gave me a ballpark quote at $475-$600. Industrial probably gets a "handleing " fee..........................MO sw iowa

I think I'll give the mirror trick a try before removing the bumper, I don't think it hard to unbolt the bumper, but the sucker weighs a ton, so I'd wait until I get a couple of guys over to drink my beer...I have found some bumper platers not far away and their prices my be better even with shipping..the only place in town I've found to do plating is Industrial Plating, and for bumpers they send them of to Minnesota (they don't have vats big enough or can't pass the environmental regs.. )Yup, if you don't have a 57-61 over there (FL) , you are somewhat insignificant . :-)..I was gonna tape some cardboard fins to my '62 and post a picture in the member "Forward Look only" section... ;) but I don't know how they'd take it... there is some good info over there, but I always have to preface questions with "How do you <blank> on a '60 to '62 Newport? ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
