Re: Rocker moulding

Yes the Bel and Satellite are different.

A trick I used installing mine was using a lazer level and moved the beam till it looked right. The Bel chrome looks to be about a inch below the sill and centerd length wise.

Thanks for the response Stevan and Don. The Satellite and Belvedere rocker moulding are different. The Belvedere has a single strip about an inch wide pointed on both ends. Each end is held down by a screw and there are clips along the length of it. I got some clips from Joe Sauchy at Mopars with Big Daddy and the information he had called for eight clips for each side. I only have six holes and only in my rocker under the door. I believe my body man covered up the screw holes and probably two clip holes on the quarter panel. Don, if your moulding is off and you can confirm the number and location of the clip holes that would be a big help. I have looked at some of the pics on the web site and it appears that the moulding is centered between the wheel openings, which would make sense.
If this not accurate someone please stop me before I start drilling holes.

Hi Mike,
I don't know whether it's the same or not but on my 65 Satellite the bottom moulding butts up tight against the wheel lip moulding both front and rear.
