Re: Calling My Slant Six Support Team

Just copied this from the slant six forum Ollie:

To identify one version from another, the engine number is needed which is located on the top right side of the cylinder block toward the front. The number 170 or 225, etc. is stamped clearly along the ledge just below the head. The date that the engine was built and oversize-undersize parts replacement information are also located next to the engine number.

As you know I have located a slant six for my project.

Going to go look at it soon and I need to know where on the block and what I am looking for to make sure it is a 225.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
