Engine test stand kind-of

Folks,
Getting my car painted and when it gets back, I want to assemble the engine and get it into the vehicle so I can get it running and broken in, rather than leave it un- assembled and give rust a chance to set in, until the car is back together with wiring, interior etc., or assemble it and leave it on the engine stand while I get the wiring harnesses, dash etc. installed. Once the engine is assembled I can install it in the car while the fenders and such are off. I will need to install the radiator so it can cool, hook up a fuel source to get pumped to the carb by the fuel pump, but my question is related to what wiring do I need, and how do I wire it? Building a 440, with Mopar Electronic Ignition. Obviously I'll need the battery hooked up, but not sure how that would be done and what other components would need to be hooked up. Would I just use the engine harness, hook that up as normally would and then rig wiring from the ignition switch? Anyone done this before, and maybe have a wiring diagram of how to hook everything up? Appreciate any help.
Thanks,
