That is preciesly what i am seeking, thanks for the link -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Jim Altemose [mailto:jaltemoose@xxxxxxxxx] Sendt: 21. august 2008 16:07 Til: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Emne: Re: torsionbars Knud, Are you trying to determine what engine originally came with the car? If so, the best thing you can do is get your original build records from Chrysler Historical, which they still have and provide as a service. For $45 you can get original documentation for your car from it's VIN that includes a photocopy of your original IBM punch card. This tells all. Different colored paint splotches were used on the production line to identify the bar both for size and location. The left side bar had two splotches, the right hand side just one. These splotches are located about 12 inches forward of the anchor end of the bar. Orange splotches on this set of 41 inch bars identify them as being from a B body with a slant six engine. > > "The end of the bar contains several different marks including the part number, the manufacturing date and a mounting location code." > > http://www.arengineering.com/articles/tbartango.html > > Gary H. > > > -----Original Message----- > >>I have manage to totally dismantel the front and the k-frame on my 62 sport >>fury.
