RE: 63 Fury Steering Wheel

I saw one NOS 64 Sport Fury wheel go on Ebay for $2K. It had been in a box,
had no cracks, fading, etc., which surprised me.

Sorry, he is asking $1000.00 for a new wheel molded exactly as the original.
He has the molds and has a 10 year guarantee against shrinking, cracking &
fading.

You didn't say what his price was, but I can tell you if you were able To
find a NOS wheel, in any color, the price would probably be more than $500.
I haven't dealt with this person, but I have had one NOS wheel repainted By
Gary's Wheels, and one rebuilt by the same person.
Both ways were expensive.
The feel of the NOS wheel was much more noticible in regard to how it Felt
on the back side of the wheel.
All the lines, grain, etc were sharp and crisp.
That's something that can't be duplicated in a rebuilt wheel.
