You didn't say what his price was, but I can tell you if you were able to find a NOS wheel, in any color, the price would probably be more than $500. I haven't dealt with this person, but I have had one NOS wheel repainted by Gary's Wheels, and one rebuilt by the same person.
Both ways were expensive. The feel of the NOS wheel was much more noticible in regard to how it felt on the back side of the wheel.
All the lines, grain, etc were sharp and crisp. That's something that can't be duplicated in a rebuilt wheel. Jimmy Herb wrote:
Has anybody had any dealings with Quality Restorations Inc.? Are his steering wheels that much better, as his pricing is a little steep! Altho you are getting a new wheel as opposed to a rebuilt one. What would a good Sport Fury wheel sell for if I could find one NOS or Very Good Shape? By the way it's two tone red & white! Thoughts!Herb
